Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions below regulate the use of the People's Republic of Cashmere store localized on web address [www.peoplesrepublicofcashmere.com]. The conditions follow the statutory regulations of the Danish Act of Sales and other statutory Danish regulations concerning online consumer sales.

 

— Payment

You can pay with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, Mastercard credit card, Visa-Electron and JCB. Prices do not include payment or delivery charge. All prices can be displayed in DKK. The amount will be deducted from your account, when purchased item(s) leaves our stock.

Your payment needs to be in our possession 3 days after your order at the latest. The topic of the payment should be your order number so we can identify your payment.

 

— Security

You can safely use your credit card on our webshop. Our payment system requires 3D Secure - a worldwide security standard verified by Visa and Mastercard.

 

— Order confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail shortly after placing your order.

 

— Prices

The price of each product is stated in [DKK] excluding shipping costs but inclusive of the Danish rate of VAT (25%) and all import taxes within the EU.

 

Buy tax free from outside of the EU

We offer tax free purchases on orders from Non-EU countries. VAT (25% of total price) will be removed automatically in the checkout process when the shipping country is selected.

 

— Price changes

We reserve the right to change prices of the products sold. The prices of the products will, during the time of placing an order, be valid throughout that specific process. We do however take reservations for typing errors.

 

— Complaints and Faulty Delivered Goods

If you have received a faulty item, or if it is not the product on your invoice, you will be returned simply as described above. If we believe that your complaint is justified, we will send you a new product free shipping and will refund your shipping costs equal to the cost of postage for a B-letter. If the item is out of stoic, we will refund the price of the item. For EU costumers, if you case has been mistreated or we have not together reached a final solution, you can as a final doing submit a complaint to the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

 

All items are shipped by parcel post with GLS, UPS or DHL. You therefore have the opportunity to follow your package via track and trace from shipping it until it is delivered. Once you have received the package, you should inspect the goods. If the package and / or contents are damaged, please immediately send us an email at hello@peoplesrepublicofcashmere.com.

 

— Delivery time

Denmark: 1-2 business days
Within the EU: 1-5 business days
Rest of the world: 2-5 business days 

If you place an order before 12:00 noon (Copenhagen time) on weekdays, it will be dispatched the same day.


Please note, that delivery times are provided as guidelines only. Issues such as payment authorization and customs clearance may cause delays.

 

— Delivery rates

Orders within Denmark

People's Republic of Cashmere offers free shipping, returns and exchanges within Denmark. If a package is not picked up we charge a fee of 50 DKK.

 

Orders within the EU

People's Republic of Cashmere offers free shipping, returns and exchanges within the EU. If a package is not picked up we charge a fee of 100 DKK.

 

Rest of the world

People's Republic of Cashmere does not offer free shipping outside of the EU. Shipping outside of EU costs 149 DKK. If a package is not picked up we charge a fee of 149 DKK.

At the moment, we do not offer shipping to the United Kingdom (England, Scotland and Wales) on all orders below 135 GBP. We're working to solve it as soon as possible.

Please note, that local charges (customs duty, sales tax) can occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at your own expense.

 

— Returns / exchanges within the EU

People's Republic of Cashmere offers free returns and exchanges within the European Union. You have the right to return or exchange your order within 14 calendar days after delivery.

 

If you wish to return or exchange an item, please send us an email at hello@peoplesrepublicofcashmere.com and tell us the following:

  • Your order number
  • Which item(s) you want to return or exchange

 

Within one business day you will receive a pre-paid return label, which should be placed on your package. If possible, please use the original packaging when returning your item. Please enclose your receipt or a note with your full name. Your package can be dropped off to the nearest GLS Pakkeshop or handed to DHL (depending on the country) within 7 calendar days.

Returns and exchanges are only possible if the item is returned in the same condition as when received. People’s Republic of Cashmere will not compensate for returned packages lost in shipping if a customer decides to use another courier than we provide a return label from. Refunds will be made as soon as possible after receiving your package. You will receive a confirmation via email once your return is processed. 

 

— Returns / exchanges outside of the EU

People's Republic of Cashmere does not offer free shipping nor returns outside of the EU. You have the right to return or exchange your order within 14 calendar days after delivery.

Return is only possible if the item is returned in the same condition as when received. When returning an item, please enclose your receipt or a note with your full name.

— Disclaimer

It is our ambition that the website is always up and running, however we cannot guarantee this.

We cannot guarantee that all the products shown are available at the time you place your order. In the event the product you order is no longer available you will be contacted by e-mail shortly after placing your order.

Due to the color settings of your computer, the colors of the products shown in the pictures in the PRC store can differ from their actual colors. PRC cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancy.

 

— Warranty

All products is also covered by a 2 year warranty, under condition that the product has not been mishandled. This means that you either get the item you bought repaired or replaced, refunded or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.

 

— Lack of conformity

If the purchased goods are damaged in any way or lacking the conformity stated by the contract by the time of delivery, contact us at [email] and we will under the rules of The Danish Sale of Goods Act remedy the lack of conformity if the complaint is rightful.

When contacting us explain in detail the lack of conformity. Complaints must be filled within reasonable time after delivery.

We will naturally refund shipping expenses in relation to a rightful complaint.
