Q&A with PRC Team, Cashmere and Traditions
What makes this scarf a go-to piece?
Caroline: The petroleum scarf isn’t exactly a go-to colour for me, but my winter jacket wardrobe is so basic that I love adding something different to it. There’s something a bit old-school about the petrol shade – and I like that.
Anaïs: I tend to wear a lot of black and neutral tones in winter, and I love how this scarf adds a subtle pop of red without feeling too festive. The shade is perfectly balanced, not too bright and not too deep, giving it a modern feel that makes it incredibly versatile and easy to wear all year round.
Sarah: The cashmere woven scarf has become a true go-to for me because of its soft, lightweight feel. I love a piece that actually keeps me warm during the colder months while still being airy and not at all heavy or bulky. I’ve realised I prefer scarves that don’t weigh me down. Instead, I’m drawn to ones that feel airy, easy, and somehow lived-in.
Maja: I’ve completely fallen in love with the scarf in checked bordeaux. It’s quite rare for me to wear colours, but I know this scarf is a keeper. It adds an extra touch to any outfit, and I’ll be wearing it year after year.
Favourite Christmas tradition?
Sarah: I’ve always been drawn to the ritual of Christmas Eve dinner preparation. Even as a child, I watched my grandma and mom map out every detail, sometimes weeks in advance, deciding which bowls would hold each sauce and which spoons we would use for the “risalamande”.
Caroline: There are two things that come to mind: baking with my kids, and buying a Christmas ornament for each of the three of them. Last year we bought small silver London buses, super ugly, but cute, because we were there just before Christmas. I’m not sure what it’s going to be this year.
Anaïs: There are so many, but I really cherish the feeling of the whole December season with my family. It all starts at the end of November with Thanksgiving as a kind of kickoff, followed by lots of birthdays, advent hygge, and then the Christmas celebrations properly begin on December 23 and finish on the 26th with a traditional Danish smørrebrød lunch. If I had to choose, my favourite tradition is simply that time together: slowing down, sharing good food, and spending real, quality time with my kids and my husband.
Aniela: My favourite Christmas tradition is cooking together the day before Christmas Eve. We light the fireplace, play music through the speakers, and stay in the kitchen late into the evening, snacking on all the holiday treats.
