Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions below regulate the use of the People's Republic of Cashmere store localised on the web address www.peoplesrepublicofcashmere.com. The conditions follow the statutory regulations of the Danish Act of Sales and other statutory Danish regulations concerning online consumer sales.
PAYMENT
As a customer, you can view and pay for the order at the checkout as well as receive refunds in your local currency. You can use the country selector at the bottom or the top of the page to change your currency selection. The amount will be deducted from your account when the purchased item(s) leaves our stock.

Your payment needs to be in our possession 3 days after your order at the latest. The topic of the payment should be your order number so we can identify your payment.
SECURITY
You can safely use your credit card on our webshop. Our payment system requires 3D Secure - a worldwide security standard verified by Visa and Mastercard.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail shortly after placing your order.
PRICES
The price of each product is stated in your local currency excluding shipping costs.
Orders within the EU
All prices shown on the webshop are including VAT.
Rest of the World
For orders to Norway, Switzerland, the UK and the US, VAT and customs duties are included in the purchasing price.
For other non-EU countries, we offer tax-free purchases. VAT (25% of the total price) is automatically deducted based on your location. Please note that local charges (customs duty, sales tax, etc.) can occur depending on your region and local customs legislation. These charges are at your own expense.
PRICE CHANGES
We reserve the right to change the prices of the products sold. The prices of the products will, during the time of placing an order, be valid throughout that specific process. We do however take reservations for typing errors.
COMPLAINTS AND FAULTY DELIVERED GOODS
If you have received a faulty item, or if it is not the product on your invoice, you will be returned simply as described below. If we believe that your complaint is justified, we will send you a new product with free shipping and will refund your shipping costs. If the item is out of stock, we will refund the price of the item. For EU customers, if your case has been mistreated or we have not together reached a final solution, you can as a final submit a complaint to the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
DELIVERY TIME
Holiday shipping deadlines
If you place an order before 13:00 (Copenhagen time) on a weekday, it will be dispatched the same day.
*Please note, that delivery times are provided as guidelines only. Issues such as payment authorisation and customs clearance may cause delays. During sale and promotion periods delivery might take a little longer than the regular delivery term.
The delivery time is in work days. The day of the first scan by a parcel service provider in Denmark counts as day 0.

DELIVERY
All items are shipped by parcel post with DAO (only in Denmark), GLS (within the EU) or DHL/UPS/FedEx etc. (outside of the EU). You, therefore, can follow your package via track and trace from shipping it until it is delivered. Once you have received the package, you should inspect the goods. If the package and/or contents are damaged, please immediately send us an email at hello@peoplesrepublicofcashmere.com.
Orders within the EU
People's Republic of Cashmere offers free shipping and returns on all orders over 900 DKK / 130 EUR within the EU.
Shipping prices (below 900 DKK / 130 EUR):
- Denmark: 49 DKK
- Within the EU: 69 DKK
If a package is not picked up we charge a fee of 49 DKK / 10 EUR.
Rest of the World
People's Republic of Cashmere does not offer free shipping outside of the EU.
- Standard Worldwide Shipping: 249 DKK
If a package is not picked up we charge a fee of 10 EUR.

For returns, please fill out the form: www.bit.ly/prc-returns within 14 calendar days of delivery. We will provide you with all the necessary steps in a separate email after you submit the form.
EXCHANGES
To receive a different size, style, or colour, please place a new order.
RETURNS WITHIN THE EU
People's Republic of Cashmere offers free returns on all orders over 900 DKK / 130 EUR within the EU. For orders below 900 DKK / 130 EUR, we charge a fee of 49 DKK (within Denmark) / 69 DKK (within the EU) for the return, which will be automatically deducted from the refunded amount.
If you want to return your order, please fill out the form below within 14 calendar days after delivery: www.bit.ly/prc-returns. We will provide you with all the necessary steps in a separate email after you submit the form. Afterwards, your package should be handed to a courier within 14 calendar days.
Returns are only possible if the item is returned in the same condition as when received. People’s Republic of Cashmere will not compensate for returned packages lost in shipping if a customer decides to use another courier from which we provide a return label.
Refunds will be made as soon as possible after receiving your package and within 8 business days. The amount for the item will be refunded to the same means of payment that was used when ordering. You will receive a confirmation via email once your return is processed, and you will be able to see the refund in your bank account or credit card statement up to 30 days after the refund is issued.
RETURNS OUTSIDE OF THE EU
People's Republic of Cashmere does not offer free shipping nor returns outside of the EU.
If you want to return your order, please fill out the form below within 14 calendar days after delivery: www.bit.ly/prc-returns. We will provide you with all the necessary steps in a separate email after you submit the form. Afterwards, your package should be handed to a courier within 14 calendar days.
IMPORTANT: Please inform the selected carrier that the return should go back to the original MRN (Movement Reference Number) / export document or be sent as a commercial return.
Returns are only possible if the item is returned in the same condition as when received. People’s Republic of Cashmere will not compensate for returned packages lost in shipping.

DISCLAIMER
It is our ambition that the website is always up and running, however, we cannot guarantee this.
We cannot guarantee that all the products shown are available at the time you place your order. In the event, the product you order is no longer available you will be contacted by e-mail shortly after placing your order.
Due to your computer's colour settings, the products' colours shown in the pictures on the People’s Republic of Cashmere website can differ from their actual colours. People’s Republic of Cashmere cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancy.
WARRANTY
All products are also covered by a 2-year warranty, under the condition that the product has not been mishandled. This means that you either get the item you bought repaired or replaced, refunded or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.
LACK OF CONFORMITY
If the purchased goods are damaged in any way or lacking the conformity stated by the contract by the time of delivery, contact us at hello@peoplesrepublicofcashmere.com and we will under the rules of The Danish Sale of Goods Act remedy the lack of conformity if the complaint is rightful.
When contacting us explain in detail the lack of conformity. Complaints must be filed within a reasonable time after delivery.
We will naturally refund shipping expenses in relation to a rightful complaint.
