They spent the time enjoying Italian food, museums and nature. While on holiday they have been borrowing each other's PRC cashmere pieces from the upcoming collection.
We asked Sonia for a few recommendations for a holiday in Northern Italy.
A place to visit:
Pirelli Hangar Bicocca, a free entry museum in the suburbs of Milan.
I especially recommend the permanent installation -The Seven Heavenly Palaces 2004-2015 by Anselm Kiefer. It is a breathtaking installation featuring seven towers crafted from concrete of 13 to 19 meters in height.
"They contain an interpretation of ancient Hebrew religion; a representation of the ruins of Western Civilization after the Second World War; and projections into a possible future through which the artist invites us to face the present." - Pirelli Hangar Bicocca
A place to eat in:
Al Carèl - a restaurant in Anfo, the town we were staying in.
It is a small local restaurant run by two women. There is no fixed menu, it changes every day depending on what they have cooked. Therefore everything is very local and always fresh.
It's on the way from Milan to Madonna di Campiglio, so I recommend stopping there before a skiing trip.
A song to listen to:
Rachel Cut - Dean Blunt
